Shoreline Jam Series 2026 HSV
One of the great surprises of living in Hot Springs Village is how much quality entertainment we can enjoy without ever leaving the Village. This weekend’s Shoreline Jam at Balboa Beach was a perfect reminder of that.
The Rodney Block Collective put on an outstanding show. The music was superb from start to finish, with a lively mix of funk, dance music, and familiar favorites that had people moving, smiling, and enjoying the evening together. It felt less like a simple concert and more like a true community celebration.
The setting made it even better. Balboa Beach at sunset was spectacular. The lake was glowing, the crowd was relaxed, and an angry-looking sky rolled in behind the stage. Somehow, the rain held off until after the concert, creating a dramatic backdrop that made the whole night feel even more memorable.
Kristin and I danced until we were warm, then decided to jump in the lake for a swim. The water was perfect. After cooling off, we came back and danced some more. It was fun to see some of our friends out on the dance floor having a good time. That is the kind of evening that is hard to describe unless you live here and get to experience it firsthand.
Bravo to the Hot Springs Village POA, the Village Concerts Association, and, of course, the Rodney Block Collective. This was top-notch entertainment in a beautiful setting, and the fact that it was free made it even more impressive.
Events like Shoreline Jam show what makes HSV special. We have natural beauty, live music, community energy, and a lifestyle that feels relaxed but full of opportunity. Whether you are a resident, a guest, or someone thinking about making the Village home, evenings like this show that entertainment in Hot Springs Village is alive, accessible, and truly worth celebrating. It was a summer night we will gladly remember often.
